Hello! I am Sharran Srivatsaa. I serve as the President of Teles Properties, one of the fastest growing real-estate companies in the United States. I also run a multi-factor investment fund named Srilo Ventures with my partners through which we invest in real estate/consumer-related technology and service businesses and advise many extremely talented owners and operators. In addition to serving as co-founder of a few startups, I enjoy serving on the Board of Directors of several companies primarily in the real estate technology and services industry.
In the recent past, I worked at both Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse advising management teams of fast-growing businesses around the country. Before that, I was lucky to travel the world working in the hotel and resort business, building tennis programs at some of the most amazing vacation destinations such as Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton in the Caribbean, Middle East, and Hawaii. I started my career as a code-monkey writing software as one of the early engineers at Lightera (acquired by CIENA) and working on product management at Obopay, a fast-growth mobile payments company.
I spend a fair amount of time on the road speaking and contributing to various media outlets on topics ranging from entrepreneurship, business growth, technology and real estate. I am a proud member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) California Coast Chapter and I am also a member of the Genius Network, the highest-level marketing mastermind in the world led by whizkid Joe Polish.
For a while in my teen years, I tried my hand at competing on the professional tennis tour. I then received a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Luther College and an MBA with Honors from Vanderbilt University, where I served different terms on their boards.
Above all, I love building things. I especially love taking ideas and making them a reality. I am obsessed with how to unlock the true greatness in people. I am obsessed with everything that has to do with growth, culture, and innovation (GCI) in an organization. I am either spending my time working on GCI or with people who are working on GCI.
I am very grateful for my family. I am devoted husband to my loving wife, Neeti (follow her on Twitter) and a committed father to my children, Neal and Lara. (Apparently, they have more popular social media profiles than their parents). We live in beautiful Orange County, California.
I have had many mentors who spent a lot of time with me and helped me become who I am today. Regardless of how much I gave back or paid it forward, I would never be able to repay that debt. Which is why I believe in a 100% accessibility policy, so if I can truly be helpful to you in anyway, please contact me.
