Reframing Regret

#DailyMojo | Sharran Srivatsaa

As I look back on 2017, I am grateful for countless things. But I can’t help thinking about a handful of things I hoped to accomplish this year but couldn’t didn’t prioritize. (couldn’t v. didn’t is my version of taking personal responsibility).

Among all the strong emotions out there, both positive and negative, I am starting feel the intense power of regret roll over me. I am learning to not let it bother me or affect me negatively when it very easily can. I am definitely not allowing it to be a debilitating emotion but rather coaching myself that it can and should be a transformative emotion.

This has gotten me really fired up! Just as I remind myself that I can still accomplish all those things that I wanted to and more, I want to remind you that you can too.

As I was doing that I came across this quote, “A year from now, you’ll wish you had started today.” #Truth

What is one thing that you did not accomplish last year that you are committed to getting after this year?
